
Pastor Emmanuel Asse
Pastor Emmanuel Asse has built an extraordinary career at the intersection of law enforcement, ministry, and global humanitarian service. Beginning as an officer with the NYPD and later serving with the U.S. DEA, Pastor Asse redirected his life toward ministry, advocacy, and peacebuilding.
For over nine years, he has served as Pastor of Public Engagement at Gateway Christian Center in Valley Stream, New York, while advancing global dialogue as a Global Peace Ambassador for the Institute of Public Policy & Diplomacy Research (IPPDR). His leadership also extends to his role as Director of Public Engagement for the International Human Rights Commission Relief Fund, Trust, where he has advocated worldwide for social justice and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Pastor Asse has co-sponsored and organized numerous high-level events at the United Nations, and his service has earned him 61 distinguished awards, including the U.S. President Joseph R. Biden Jr. Community Service Award, the UN “Power of Dream” Award with Danny Glover, and the U.S. Secret Service Award.
